Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Brighton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
Night shift, 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts
36 hours per week, 3 days per week
Epic EMR used for charting
Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS — all must not expire prior to start date
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for L&D patients
Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
