Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position in Denver, CO requiring at least 1 year of PACU experience, Epic proficiency, and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a hospital setting
- Cross-coverage in the pre-op department is required
- Day shift, 4x9-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week), weekdays
- On-call required during regularly scheduled shifts
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- Charting is done in Epic
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS — must not expire prior to assignment start
- ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for post-anesthesia patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
- Refers patients as needed and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent Intermountain staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Two professional references required for consideration
