Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care hospital CT Scan unit, with at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 212 staffed beds
- CT Scan unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Shift start times are 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM — candidates must be open to all shift times and cannot request a specific shift
- Available shifts include days (6:00 AM–6:30 PM) and nights (5:00 PM–5:30 AM), 3x12-hour shifts
- Self-scheduling based on seniority
- Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend based on unit need
- No on-call requirement
- No floating between like units
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Free parking on-site
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Active BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced certification, CA CRT, and CT certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active professional license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
- Scrub color for this unit is not specified; RNs wear navy blue
