Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and specialized pelvic floor rehab expertise for a 13-week travel contract at an academic medical center in Washington, DC.
Details
- 100% pelvic floor rehabilitation caseload
- Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts per week, 40 hours per week
- Must be available to work one holiday if needed
- Academic medical center setting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience in a US hospital setting required
- Specialized experience in pelvic floor rehabilitation is required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Completed post-graduate instruction in pelvic floor rehab is required
- Degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active PT license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- First Aid certification preferred
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluation, program planning, and treatment administration as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Performs detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs upon physician referral and develops age-appropriate plans of care
- Accurate and thorough documentation of patient treatment is expected
- Candidates must live more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- CPI certification is mandated for this position
