Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 1+ years of specialty experience and a CO or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule from 7:00pm-7:30am
• 36 hours per week across 3 days per week
• Weekend requirement of 10 shifts within an 8-week period, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
• On-call requirement of 1-3 call shifts within an 8-week period
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN or C-EFM
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
• ASN required, with BSN preferred
• Certifications must not expire prior to start date
• No pending license status permitted
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through ongoing health data collection
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy directly or through delegation and supervision
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results typically require at least 2 weeks processing time through a designated vendor
