Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an outpatient-focused position requiring at least 1 year of experience, including hip and knee replacement and inpatient experience, with floating between two clinic locations.

Details

• Outpatient and inpatient PT setting, with floating between Woodruff and Minocqua clinic locations
• Patient population includes spine-related issues, shoulder pain, total hip and knee replacement, hip pain/surgery, and balance/fall risk
• Caseload of up to 13 patients per day with 45-minute appointments
• Inpatient rounding responsibilities included alongside outpatient caseload
• No rehab aides or PTAs on the team
• EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic)
• Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; no weekend or holiday requirements
• 8-hour day shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Hip and knee replacement experience required
• Inpatient PT experience, including discharge planning for hip and knee patients, required
• Active PT license required by start date; license required if applicable
• BLS (AHA) certification required and must be active
• 2 references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include outpatient treatment, inpatient rounding, and discharge planning for hip and knee patients
• Inpatient scheduling is coordinated with the manager
• Business casual attire required; scrubs are optional for inpatient duties
• Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their consideration date
• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate
• 8-hour orientation provided on-site
