Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with Hand Therapy experience for a 13-week contract at a rural healthcare clinic in beautiful Buena Vista, CO.

Details

• Rural healthcare clinic setting in Buena Vista, CO
• Outpatient care environment
• Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week; schedule may flex to 4x10-hour shifts depending on patient volume
• Hand Therapy experience is required for this role

Requirements

• Active CO OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient care experience
• Hand Therapy experience required
• Graduate of an accredited OT Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree program
• Current CPR certification required
• Rehabilitation certifications (ASHA, CHT, ACP Training) as applicable

Additional Information

• Examine patients with impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities to determine diagnosis, prognosis, and appropriate intervention
• Design, implement, and modify therapeutic interventions to alleviate impairments and functional limitations
• Focus on injury prevention and promotion of fitness, health, and quality of life across all age populations
• Provide consultation and patient/caregiver education as part of care delivery
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment progress, attendance, and charge submission
