Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of recent Cath Lab and EP experience, including Stroke, Neuro Intervention, and Cerebral Thrombectomy procedures, for a 13-week contract in the Broward, FL area.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
- Procedures include EP studies, Stroke and Neuro Intervention, Cerebral Thrombectomies, and Embolizations
- Trauma experience utilized in this role
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab and EP experience required
- ARRT (Radiographer) certification required
- ACLS and BLS through AHA required
- Epic EMR experience required
- FL RN license or compact license required if applicable
- All certifications must be current
- Must successfully complete a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses
- Proof of vaccination status required — declinations are not accepted
- Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia (EKG) assessment; passing criteria include an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% in the lethal rhythm section, and 83% in all other sections
Additional Information
- EP Technologist experience is required for this position
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a lower pay rate than travel candidates
- Smoke-free facility
- A study guide and tips for the arrhythmia assessment are available through the facility's online orientation portal
