Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology position rotating between an outpatient chemo infusion clinic and an inpatient oncology unit, requiring ONS/ONCC certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- Outpatient chemo infusion and inpatient oncology setting
- Position rotates between two sites: an outpatient chemo infusion clinic in Kennesaw, GA and an inpatient oncology unit in Atlanta, GA
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Floating required between the two assigned sites within scope of practice
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or compact RN license required
- ONS or ONCC certification required
- Minimum 1 year of oncology RN experience required
- Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
- Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- RTO maximum of 7 days for the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week
- If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO
- If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a full year before returning as a traveler
- No schedule change requests or alternate shift arrangements are permitted — the posted shift is firm
- Travel pairs may not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
- Candidates undergo a clinical review process prior to manager consideration
