Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 2 years of experience and night shift availability at a 24-bed unit.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit with 24 staffed beds and an average daily census of 24
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
- Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
- Charting is performed using Epic
Requirements
- Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) required — pending licenses are not accepted
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry and/or Neuro nursing experience required
- A valid Driver's License and a utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address dated within the last 3 months are required for consideration
- Two supervisory references required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are not eligible — permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility
- Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff at this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holidays or blackout dates may be requested
