Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an IMC/PCU position requiring at least 2 years of experience including 1 year of travel experience, with telemetry and critical care background.
Details
- Intermediate Care (IMC/PCU) unit in a hospital setting
- 24-bed unit with an average daily census of 24 patients
- Critical care and telemetry patient population
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
Requirements
- Active OK or Compact RN license required — pending licenses will not be accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course/Telemetry certification, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Current critical care and telemetry experience required
- Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
- Utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months required for consideration
- 2 supervisory references required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidate's permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from this health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout date RTO requests will be accepted
- First-time travelers are not eligible — a minimum of 1 year of prior travel nursing experience is required
