Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel position in Massachusetts, requiring a permanent MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of Medical and Surgical ICU experience.

Details

• Hospital ICU setting in Marlborough, Massachusetts
• Medical ICU and Surgical ICU patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every third weekend required (Friday and Saturday nights)
• Float to the ED for boarders as needed
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract, 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active, permanent Massachusetts RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, with both Medical ICU and Surgical ICU background
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

Additional Information

• Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam, each with only one attempt allowed — failure results in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and facility-specific orientation
• Candidates must be prepared for a rigorous orientation process with limited retake opportunities
