Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with experience in acute care and outpatient settings, holding ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, for a 13-week evening shift contract.
Details
- Acute care teaching hospital setting serving adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma populations
- Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and certified stroke center
- MRI experience required across a broad range of procedures including abdomen/pelvis, spine, head and neck, musculoskeletal, and advanced imaging techniques (diffusion, perfusion, gradient echo, MIP, MPR, spin echo, T1/T2 weighted, surface coils)
- Siemens MRI equipment experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 4x10 hour evening shifts, Tuesday–Friday, 1:00 PM–11:00 PM
- No on-call requirement
- May be required to float to additional affiliated clinic locations in the Roanoke, VA area
Requirements
- Current BLS required
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma settings
- Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Radiation safety knowledge required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must be available to work one holiday during the 13-week contract, on a rotating basis with staff
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
