Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with experience in acute care and outpatient settings, holding ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, for a 13-week evening shift contract.

Details

• Acute care teaching hospital setting serving adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma populations
• Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and certified stroke center
• MRI experience required across a broad range of procedures including abdomen/pelvis, spine, head and neck, musculoskeletal, and advanced imaging techniques (diffusion, perfusion, gradient echo, MIP, MPR, spin echo, T1/T2 weighted, surface coils)
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 4x10 hour evening shifts, Tuesday–Friday, 1:00 PM–11:00 PM
• No on-call requirement
• May be required to float to additional affiliated clinic locations in the Roanoke, VA area

Requirements

• Current BLS required
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma settings
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Radiation safety knowledge required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must be available to work one holiday during the 13-week contract, on a rotating basis with staff
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
