Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Hospital-based Med-Surg Step Down unit (7W)
• Placement on a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on the greatest need and the traveler's skills at the time of assignment
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set onsite or to other facilities within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Both Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing is the same for both skill sets
• Local candidates are welcome to apply; candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
