Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a hospital-based position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Cath Lab setting within a hospital environment, including a Level 2 diagnostic and PCI lab, EP lab, vascular angiogram suite, and IR simple procedures
• Patient population includes AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, EP devices, heart arrhythmias, PAD, and PVD
• Specialized equipment includes Impella, IABP, temporary pacer, shockwave, DFR, IVUS, and FFR
• Epic EMR experience required
• Schedule options: 4x9-hour shifts (36 hrs/wk) or 5x8-hour shifts (40 hrs/wk), Monday–Friday with a 7:00 AM or 7:45 AM start
• On-call required: one night per week and every 4th weekend

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCI RCIS certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference — no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted
• Former employees of the facility are eligible after a 6-month separation period
• RTO must be requested at time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or less for the contract period
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
