Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Critical Access Hospital in Fraser, CO, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) emergency department setting in Fraser, CO, located in the Colorado Rockies approximately 90 minutes west of Denver
• Brand new facility neighboring Rocky Mountain National Park and Winter Park Ski Area
• Trauma Level IV designation
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, plus 2 on-call shifts per 6-week period
• On-call and holiday coverage required
• Occasional coverage at satellite locations in Granby or Kremmling may be required
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• COVID-19 vaccination not required

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge in the ED
• Care delivery follows accepted standards and protocols including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ATLS
• Shared housing may be available on a limited-capacity basis; no smoking, no pets, and no families or partners permitted in shared housing
• All time-off requests must be disclosed during the interview process — no RTO will be considered after placement
