Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Jacksonville, FL, requiring at least 1 year of hospital-based CT experience and ARRT (R, CT) certification.
Details
- CT Scan department located on the first floor of the main hospital building in Jacksonville, FL
- 3-bed CT department equipped with GE 64-slice scanners: VCT, Optima, and Revolution
- Day shift staffing includes 3 CT Techs and 1 Tech Assistant; night shift includes 1 CT Tech and 1 Tech Assistant
- Performs all CT exams except Cardiac CTA
- EMR system: Meditech
- Friday through Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
- Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
- No floating required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting
- Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
- ARRT (R, CT) and BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- Trauma hospital experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- Two professional references required (Florida position)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
