Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a Critical Access Hospital in Chewelah, WA, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital setting with 23 total staff beds
• Med/Surg Tele unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Day and night shifts available (3x12-hour shifts); 7:00–19:00 or 19:00–7:00
• Every other weekend required at minimum
• No on-call required
• Floating required between facilities within Washington state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• No parking fee

Requirements

• Active WA state RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• RN may float between Providence St. Joseph's Hospital and Providence Mt. Carmel Hospital based on census needs
• Day/night rotation is manager-scheduled with the intention of being fair and manageable for travelers
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position
• Former permanent Providence employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Any color scrubs are accepted
