Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) position requiring telemetry experience, Cerner EMR proficiency, and a minimum of 6 months of travel nursing experience.

• Inpatient hospital Med/Surg unit
• Telemetry monitoring required as part of patient care
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — AHA-issued only
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) with Advanced Physical Skills Training certification required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience in a U.S. hospital
• Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 6 months of travel nurse experience required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Provides comprehensive patient care including initial and ongoing assessments, care planning, and age-appropriate interventions across the lifespan
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position due to the 6-month travel experience requirement
