Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment, with prior IRF experience required and first-time travelers considered.
Details
- Freestanding 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit located on the campus of a main hospital
- Unit features private and semi-private rooms, a dining room, rehab gym, ADL kitchen, ADL laundry room, and a transitional ADL apartment
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00–15:30), scheduled on various days of the week
- Every other Saturday rotation required
- No on-call required
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience required; prior IRF (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility) experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local bill rate
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered, contingent on prior IRF experience
- Interdisciplinary team conferences are held twice per week, with daily morning huddles to address acute patient changes and needs
- Family conferences are conducted as needed based on patient complexity
- Up to 10 RTO days may be approved; RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28–July 9, September 2–12, or October 25–November 4
- Scrub uniform: Caribbean Blue top with black bottoms
