Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down/HVTI unit position requiring at least 18 months of step-down experience and an Ohio or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Work in a hospital Step-Down (HVTI-Stepdown) unit environment
• May float to other units caring for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts: 7:00am–7:30pm and 7:00pm–7:30am
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Shift rotation may be adjusted to meet operational needs of the hospital

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required (travel experience accepted)
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Must provide a valid driver's license and Social Security card for consideration

Additional Information

• Must work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location and must wait a minimum of 6 months before starting another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
• Two professional references are required for consideration
