Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with hybrid OR experience in endovascular procedures for a 13-week assignment at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma designated facility with 615 staffed beds
  • Cardiac Cath Lab unit focused on vascular surgical patients undergoing endovascular procedures
  • Cases include EVAR, TEVAR, aortograms, and peripheral runoffs
  • Charting system is Cerner
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • One weekend shift required per month
  • On-call required 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month
  • No floating within the facility or to sister facilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab / Radiology Tech
  • Hybrid OR experience in endovascular procedures is required (EVAR, TEVAR, aortogram, peripheral runoffs)
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Current BLS required
  • Valid state license required if applicable
  • Local candidates are not eligible for this position
  • Pending state licenses are not accepted

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Scrub color required is Caribbean Blue
  • Block scheduling requests may be discussed during the interview process
  • RTO cannot be written into the contract per facility policy; any time-off accommodations are subject to manager verbal approval only — candidates who require contractual RTO guarantees should be aware of this limitation
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
