Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of U.S. hospital experience for a 13-week assignment at a regional medical center in Texas.
Details
- 13-week travel contract
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Shift hours are approximately 8:00 AM–5:30 PM and may vary depending on coverage needs
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Requirements
- Active Texas OT license required (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience in a U.S. hospital setting required
- Bachelor's degree from an AOTA-accredited program required; Master's degree highly desired
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- CPI certification required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills required
- Active U.S. SSN required
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services including evaluation, program planning, and treatment administration as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Perform detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs upon physician referral
- Develop comprehensive, age-appropriate plans of care following OT evaluation
- Accurately and appropriately document all patient treatment
- Adapt effectively to new and changing work assignments
- Date of birth required for consideration
