Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with scrub and monitor experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Joint Commission accredited, Duke LifePoint hospital in Clyde, NC.
Details
- Combo Cath Lab / IR unit at a 154-bed, Joint Commission accredited Duke LifePoint hospital
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Call rotation from 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Procedures include cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology
- Equipment: Philips
- EHR: Paragon
- Weekends not staffed
- Float requirements include scrub and monitor duties
- Located in Clyde, NC, approximately 20 miles from Asheville and within driving distance of the Great Smoky Mountains
Requirements
- 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience
- RT(R) required if applicable; RCIS preferred
- AHA certifications required
- Proficiency in both scrubbing and monitoring
- Experience with Cath and IR preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Additional Information
- Full-time Cath Lab Technologist role covering a combination Cath/IR lab
- Orientation is held bi-weekly
- OR scrubs are provided; candidates will change into OR apparel on site
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during this assignment
