Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC, BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications, with trauma experience highly preferred.

Details

  • 41-bed Emergency Department unit in a hospital setting
  • Sees 135+ patients per day with a 4:1 patient ratio
  • Patient population includes stroke, ACS, diabetic, and AKD cases
  • Facility is a Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center with 24/7 Cath Lab access, Level 3 NICU, and actively pursuing Level 3 Trauma designation
  • Night shift schedule: 7 PM – 7 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule

Requirements

  • Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (or ENPC)
  • CPI certification required upon contract extension
  • Trauma experience highly preferred
  • Valid, non-expired Driver's License required for consideration
  • Two completed supervisor/manager references required for consideration
  • Skills checklist completed within the last year required for consideration
  • NURSYS verification and State Primary Source Verification from within the last 30 days required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify under the radius rule for this nursing position
