Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and multiple certifications, with no first-time travelers accepted.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department setting
• Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (3x12 or 4x12 shifts)
• Evening shift hours: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required; 3 years preferred
• Candidates with 2 years of experience must have background in a high-volume or trauma facility
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid all substances that could produce a positive drug screen result prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
