Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a dedicated Pediatric Home Health position requiring trach/vent experience and a valid OH or compact RN license.
Details
- Dedicated home health position — work takes place entirely in patients' homes, not at a facility
- Pediatric patient population, primarily technology-dependent and medically complex children on tracheostomies and mechanical ventilators
- Day shift (3x12, 7:00–19:00) and Night shift (3x12, 19:00–7:00) available
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- BSN required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Minimum 6 months of experience in Home Care, Geriatric Care, Med/Surg, CCU, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, or DODD
- PICU experience required
- Hands-on experience with tracheostomy and mechanical ventilator management required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software required
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across all levels of an organization required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

- Care for medically complex and technology-dependent pediatric patients in their home environments
- Experience working with individuals with developmental delays is preferred
- Experience managing technology-dependent and/or medically complex patients is preferred
