Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care teaching hospital, requiring ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications and prior travel experience.
Details
- CT Scan department at a large acute care teaching hospital with over 700 licensed beds, Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and certified stroke center
- 3x13-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM, on consecutive days starting Monday or Tuesday
- Shift start time may vary by up to 2 hours based on unit need, with advance notice provided
- On-call rotation shared with permanent staff
- One holiday shift or call shift required per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff
- May be required to float to a nearby satellite clinic location approximately half a mile from the main campus
- Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR
Requirements
- Current BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) certifications required
- Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted, as Virginia grants emergency authorization while a permanent VA license is processing — license required if applicable
- Siemens CT equipment experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Proficiency in radiation safety practices
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must live outside the facility's radius requirement to be eligible
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging including contrast administration and radiation safety protocols
- Shift coverage may occasionally be reduced by the facility, up to once per two-week period
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
