Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Charge Nurse role on a Med/Surg unit, requiring prior charge experience and a valid GA or compact RN license.

Details

Med/Surg unit in a small, 10-bed hospital floor setting
Serves as Charge RN for the Med/Surg unit
Maximum patient ratio of 1:5
Night shift, 7p–7a, alternating between 3x12 and 4x12-hour schedules
Schedule rotates weekly: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday one week, then Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday the following week (every other weekend)
No on-call requirements
May be required to float to other departments in the event of an emergency to provide charge-level support
Charting system is CPSI; facility will provide training

Requirements

Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Previous charge nurse experience required
Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
PALS preferred
Must provide two professional references for consideration
Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

Lead and coordinate nursing care for the Med/Surg unit as Charge RN
No RTO (time off) will be approved for this assignment

My phone showed her number as spam and I think blocked some of the texts I wish it hadn't have done that but that was nothing on her end all on mine so make sure that you have your settings to allow the calls and texts from spam
