Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg (Ortho Neuro) travel contract in Wichita, KS, requiring a valid KS or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Orthopedic/Neuro nursing unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating may be required to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
- EMR: Cerner OneChart
Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact state currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required — must be AHA-issued
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides nursing care to orthopedic and neurological patients
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred but not required
- MOAB De-Escalation Training preferred but not required
- Ceil blue scrubs required
- Holiday coverage required: must commit to working both July 4th and Labor Day
