Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in California, performing diagnostic imaging including radiographs, CT scans, and mammography on a Friday–Sunday schedule.

• Works in a hospital radiology department performing diagnostic imaging
• Modalities include general radiography, CT scans, and mammography
• Friday through Sunday schedule, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Position requires standby availability and after-hours, weekend, and holiday callback

Requirements

• AS degree in Radiologic Technology required
• Current ARRT certification required
• Active California CRT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid venipuncture certificate required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Must be able to work independently and function as a collaborative team member

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing quality radiographs, CT scans, and mammography as needed
• Additional duties may include protocolling, scheduling, answering phones, and serving as a resource for insurance-related questions
• Candidates who have passed the CT and/or Mammography registry are preferred; if not yet certified, passing the registry is required within one year of hire (or within two years if pursuing both)
• RTO is not approved unless noted in the offer
