Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience with strong orthopedic skills and an active FL or compact RN license.

Details

• 12-hour day shifts in a hospital OR setting
• Scheduled shifts on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• On-call is required for this position
• Strong orthopedic surgical caseload
• EMR: Epic
• Floating to OR units at sister campuses may be required (all within approximately 15–20 minutes of each other)

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required, visible through Nursys
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Strong orthopedic OR experience required
• Degree accreditation verification required, or 5 years of experience in lieu of accredited degree documentation
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred
• Orientation begins on a Friday; candidates must be physically present at the facility for badge and ID issuance
• Block scheduling requests are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront, as it will not be approved after an offer is extended
• Flexibility and willingness to float to sister campuses is expected
• Candidates must be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
