Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a General Sonography/Ultrasound position requiring ARDMS OB/GYN certification and a minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience.

Details

• Outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting performing general and specialty obstetric/gynecologic ultrasound
• Caseload of approximately 15–18 scans per day
• Procedures include transvaginal GYN scans, US-guided procedures, obstetric ultrasound (viability, growth, biophysical profile, cervical length, Doppler)
• Charting in Epic and OB Server
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekend requirement
• Floating may be required to LVPG OB/GYN office locations in Allentown and Bethlehem as needed
• Availability to cover call-outs is preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in OB/GYN ultrasound
• Active ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialty required
• BLS required
• Proficiency in transvaginal GYN scans, US-guided procedures, and obstetric ultrasound including viability, growth scans, biophysical profiles, cervical length, and Doppler studies
• MFM experience highly preferred
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a different pay rate
• Black scrubs required
