Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Inpatient Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week weekend day shift assignment at a Level II Trauma Center in Oregon.
Details
- Work in an acute/inpatient rehabilitation setting at a 160-bed Level II Trauma Center
- Day shift schedule, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, every weekend
- Diverse patient population spanning pediatrics to geriatrics, including neurological, orthopedic, women's health, lymphedema, and hand therapy cases
- Outpatient clinic features a therapy pool with underwater treadmill, Sanet Vision Integrator, custom splinting stations, and separate adult and pediatric gyms
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current, active and unencumbered Oregon OT license required; license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of relevant occupational therapy experience
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
Additional Information
- Evaluate and treat patients experiencing decline in self-care, physical mobility, or functional independence
- Specialty services include acute inpatient care, outpatient oncology services at a regional cancer center, and a wide range of rehabilitative modalities
- All outpatient services are one-on-one with therapist-driven treatment times
