Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position at a Level III Trauma hospital in Beckley, WV, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience across multiple surgical specialties.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 7 OR suites
- RN Circulator role serving patients of all ages
- Surgical specialties include General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic Surgery
- 1:1 patient ratio
- EMR: Meditech
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Every other weekend coverage required, with potential for on-call
- Call requirements: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- Interdepartmental floating required as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WV RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
- Circulating experience in General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic Surgery specialties required
- OR scrub/circulator experience preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Serves as RN Circulator across a broad range of surgical specialties in a Level III Trauma facility
- Facility scrubs are provided; personal casual wear and other facility-branded attire are not permitted
- Orientation is held biweekly on Wednesdays
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
