Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Cardiology Unit Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience and the ability to work every other weekend on night shifts.
Details
- Work setting is an acute cardiology unit (606A) within a hospital environment
- 12-hour night shifts (7PM–7PM)
- 3 shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend is required
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or acute cardiology nursing experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Any time-off requests must be submitted upfront — RTO cannot be requested after an offer is extended
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken at least a 2-year break before being considered
- EMR experience should be noted in your work history
