Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, BSN, and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience with a prior travel assignment.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) setting at a major academic medical center
- 12-hour variable shifts available — day shifts run 7:00–19:30 and night shifts run 19:30–7:30
- Straight day shift requests will not be considered
- Floating to other facilities within the health system is required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BSN required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience with ED-specific experience required — firm requirement
- Prior travel assignment required — firm requirement
- Completed professional references must be in hand at time of consideration
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
- Continuous IV sedation experience preferred
- Triage experience preferred

- Position is based in a high-acuity academic medical center environment
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
