Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population with conditions including CHF, pneumonia, stroke, TIA, seizures, UTI, cardiac infections, and more
• Involves post-procedural care for pacemaker insertions, cardiac catheterizations, thoracentesis, and chest tube management
• Experience with cardiac drips (including heparin) and peritoneal dialysis required
• Night shift: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience in acute Med/Surg Telemetry required
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Responsibilities include managing a diverse acute medical-surgical telemetry caseload and providing post-procedural nursing care
