Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center position requiring a minimum of 3 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work in a large Operating Room department with 41 ORs at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics
- 1:1 patient ratio
- 13-week contract
- 12-hour day shifts with a 6:45 AM start, with occasional floats to 8:45 AM or 10:45 AM starts
- Occasional float to night shifts, no more than 3 shifts per contract
- Weekend shifts required per unit needs
- On-call required per unit needs, approximately 3 shifts per 8-week schedule period
- May float to other OR units within the same health system
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates who have previously completed a full year on assignment with this OR department must wait at least one year before being rebooked
- Maximum of 10 RTO days allowed for the duration of the contract
- RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28–July 9, September 2–12, and October 25–November 4
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local bill rate
