Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 46-bed surgical unit, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work on a 46-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit (4N) in a hospital setting
• Primary patient population includes post-surgical cases: trauma surgery, bariatric surgery, abdominal surgery, amputation, and urological patients
• Unit also receives overflow medical and cardiac patients
• Patient ratios typically range from 1:5 to 1:6, with the possibility of reaching 1:7 during call-ins
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
