Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency, with a Monday–Friday day shift schedule and no weekends or holidays.
Details
- Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation facility located on an ambulatory campus adjacent to a medical center
- Outpatient adult population with a focus on orthopedics, arthritis, CVA/stroke rehabilitation, and upper extremity conditions
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- No weekend or holiday coverage required
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active NJ OT license or NJ Compact Privilege required; license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Full COVID-19 vaccination including booster required
- Experience with orthopedics, stroke rehabilitation, and upper extremity conditions preferred
Additional Information
- Comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation center offering OT, PT, speech therapy, hand therapy, stroke rehab, and specialized neurological rehabilitation programs
- Clinical responsibilities include assessments, plan of care development, reassessments, discharge documentation, home exercise program development, patient and family education, and safety and injury prevention
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Two current professional references required for consideration
- RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
