Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring at least one year of CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting and AHA-issued BLS and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work is performed in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (Cardio PICU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
• 13-week travel contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma state license or eNLC compact license) currently in hand
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of one year of CVICU nursing experience required
• CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply for a new contract
• Compliance requirements (onboarding, drug screens, background checks, and medical requirements) must be completed promptly — this facility strictly enforces compliance deadlines and will not accommodate delayed start dates
• BSN is preferred but not required
