Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position at an acute care hospital in Somerset, KY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• Position is based in the Coronary Care Unit (CVICU) of a 295-bed acute care facility in Somerset, KY
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or relevant RN experience required
• AHA certifications required prior to start date
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• The facility serves an 11-county region in south central Kentucky and offers specialized cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program
