Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience and RCIS certification for a 13-week contract at a Level I Trauma acute care hospital in a high-volume cardiac cath lab setting.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 11 cath lab procedure rooms at a 719-bed Level I Trauma center
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit handling EP, IR, and cath lab cases
- High-volume unit with 40–50 cases per day
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call requirement of 4–5 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Active BLS certification required
- Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification via CCI required; pending certifications will not be accepted
- CVT experience and familiarity with relevant cath lab equipment required
- Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Performs procedures across EP, IR, and cardiac cath lab cases in a high-volume environment
- Daily parking is available on and off campus, with costs ranging from $15/day or $95–$120/month with a monthly pass
- Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
