Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Respiratory/Med-Surg unit position in Zanesville, OH, requiring a minimum of 3 years of telemetry or stepdown experience and current Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Work in a hospital respiratory unit where COVID patients are admitted
• Occasional floating between various Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarder units
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR proficiency is required — refresher courses or 1:1 training are not available options

Requirements

• Active OH RN license (OH or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience required
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry — candidates will be tested on this skill on day one
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required — must be clearly documented in your profile

Additional Information

• Telemetry competency will be assessed on the first day, and inability to pass will result in termination
• Candidates found to lack Epic proficiency after placement will be subject to termination
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or at the time of submission to be honored
• Returning Genesis travelers who have worked there within the last 9 months may have flexible start date options; all others are limited to the posted start date
