Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring at least 2 years of endoscopy experience, Epic proficiency, and an active IL RN license.
Details
- Hospital/medical center GI/Endoscopy unit setting
- Multiple facility locations available, including Level 1, 2, 3, and 4 trauma centers depending on site
- Epic EMR required
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required at time of consideration; IA RN license (single-state or compact) also required — may be pending at start with proof of application provided
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy/GI nursing experience required
- Hospital or medical center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- BSN degree preferred
- At least one completed travel contract preferred
- One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Must not have been employed by UnityPoint within the last 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the assigned facility to qualify for standard travel rates
- Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
- Time-off requests during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday windows are limited to 1 day per period
- First-time travelers are not preferred; at least one prior travel contract is recommended
