Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 20-week assignment performing general, vascular, OB, and small parts ultrasound in an imaging department setting.
Details
- Work in a hospital imaging department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Specialties include general abdominal, OB (1st trimester), vascular, small parts, and breast imaging
- Assists with ultrasound-guided biopsies
- 4x10-hour day shifts with a weekend and call rotation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
- ARDMS (AB and OB) or ARRT(S) certification required
- Current AHA BLS required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- DOB or SSN required for consideration
- Proof of flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Additional Information
- Perform ultrasound imaging across multiple specialties including general abdominal, OB, vascular, small parts, and breast imaging, as well as biopsy assistance
- A Colorado CAPS background check is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply promptly
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of experience is required
