Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work setting is an acute care hospital Med-Surg/PCU Step Down unit
- Traveler will be placed on the unit with the greatest need, which may be a PCU or Med/Surg/Telemetry unit based on skill set
- Night shift: 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- Floating required within skill set, including to sister sites within a 40-mile radius
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or valid Compact RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (both must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or acute care experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license required
- Full Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
- Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
Additional Information
- Will accept either a Med-Surg or Step Down RN — credentialing requirements are the same for both
- Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates living within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
