Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring at least 2 years of experience and the ability to float to multiple ICU units including Neuro and Burn ICUs.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 (12.5-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital environment
• CVICU and Neuro ICU patient populations; Burn ICU exposure also possible
• May receive Med/Surg or IMC patient assignments when needed
• Floating required within the facility based on skill set; may also be required to float to sites within 40 miles
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or a compact RN license recognized in Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years of RN ICU experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• CVICU or Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required

• Candidates will be assigned patients within their skill set and travel experience level
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
