Description
American Traveler is seeking a CO-licensed RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and Epic proficiency, working night shifts at a hospital in Brighton, CO.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting located in Brighton, CO
- Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Epic EMR is used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during a regularly scheduled shift may be required
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of L&D nursing experience required
- Required certifications (all must be AHA and valid through the assignment start date): BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
- Associate's degree (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Epic charting experience required
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
- Refers patients as needed and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
